The night just before Hiroshi flies off returning to Japan, I've managed to organised a get-together farewell dinner cum drinks party night-out. Was glad to meet them after my work and there we are having great fun with yummy food and drinks and best of all is the get-together!!

Group Lunch before Hiroshi return ~ 2011

Time flies when the time comes that Hiroshi needs to bid Singapore Goodbye again . .

Hope he had a great time catching up with all that he misses & great time with his friends too. So glad that just before he return, we managed to arranged a group lunch together with Bi and we brought Hiroshi & Yuuko san to yummy chinese food located @ West Coast Plaza by the name of Paradise Inn. Finally Bi & Hiroshi managed to catch up as hey last met since a long time too. A great & nice fruitful lunch with everyone!

Secondary Schoolmates Gals Night out!

It's such great moment finally we managed to arranged for a gathering for some dinner & drinks hang out. Our meet up venue is @ OverEasy @ One Fullerton.. limited choices of dinner actually, but ambience isn't that bad. Upon arrival, was surprised to see 2 guests whom I had not seen them for ages!! They are Cindy & Jessica . . both were also my secondary school friends, its great to see them again after so many years and they seem to be doing great, getting prettier and prettier too! It's total of 7 of us, Gals hang out night, of course not to miss the picture taking part too . .here they are the pretty babes:-

Gathering with Bunch of Funkies on Singapore National Day!

It was on Singapore National Day that I organised this gathering outing with a bunch of funkies!
So where did we go & what did we have for dinner? - - - - - - ? - - - - - - ?

Dinner venue was decided to be @ Lau Pau Sat which is known as Old Festive Market and here's list of items of what we had for dinner:-

(1) Satay which is a malay food looks like Yakitori
(2) Vietnamese Fresh Spring roll
(3) Pineapple fried rice
(4) Xin Zhou Bee Hoon which is also call stir fried beehoon
(5) Popiah which is chinese version of spring roll
(6) Grilled Sting ray
(7) Stir fried french bean vegetables
(8) Kueh Pie Ti

While enjoying our dinner, we managed to catch some glimpse of fireworks which was quite awesome! And thereafter dinner, we walk to somewhere near Marina Bay Sand trying to check out of we can catch more of National Day Celebration atmosphere since all of my friends were first time to catch Singapore National Day celebration. Would be a great opportunity for them I guess? Hmm.. despite celebration was over, they still managed to self-entertain themselves with lots of fun shots taken! Hmmm...they are simply so young and lively! How I wish I'm still at such an age of theirs . . . .

バーベキューパーティー

日本人の友達[よこみち夫婦]は私にバーベキューパーティー招待されています。

I was invited by my Japanese friend, Yuuko-san & her husband for a BBQ party.

今回は二回目をこんなバーベキューパーティーを参加しました。
This was the 2nd time I attended such BBQ party.

よこみち夫婦は優しです、新し日本からの留学生がいらしたから、バーベキューパーティーを開いた。
It was kind of the couple, Yuuko-san & her husband for holding this BBQ party for the new arrival of new overseas abroad students from Japan.

その時新しい日本人友達が知り合ったのはよかったです(^_-)-?

At that time, I get to know a new group of Japanese new friends who are here in Singapore for student exchange program in Singapore University. That was great isn't?

皆は面白くて若いです。
They were all young & fun people to be with.

友達の誕生日お祝い ~ Adeline's Birthday Celebration

仕事の後、何時も一緒に走ているの同僚と一緒に誕生日のお祝いをしました。

After work on that day, the usual running group of my colleagues came together & celebrated birthday.

私の誕生日ではなく、同僚の誕生日です。

It wasn't my birthday but one of our member's Birthday.

皆は友達の誕生日お祝い為に集まる、晩ご飯を食べて、飲み行った。

All of us gathered together for the sake of our dear friend Birthday, at the same time to have dinner & drinks together.

その日、ゲームもしましたよ~落し主の人は、ケーキを食べる、其れはやばいです！沢山食べると。。。 (>_<)
At that time, they played some games too & loser are to eat cakes. That's horrible isn't? If too much cakes are eaten... Hmmm...(>_<)

Welcome Back Iku chan!

My Dear friend, Iku chan was back in Singapore for a short 2 weeks.
I really misses her and it's been about nearly 5 months we last met actually and so nice to be able to catch up with her during her return this round.

Since she misses Singapore local food, we had dinner together @ Lau Pa Sat. Jus few simple dishes such as Satay, Xiao Long Bai & Vietnamese roll... despite its simple dish, we enjoyed it well while chatting wth one another.

Then after our dinner, I brought her to the nice night view Level 33 located @ Marina Bay Financial Center to enjoyed a nice chilled german beer as she enjoyed the night scenic.

We chatted alot that night and was so good to be able to see her again =D
Next meet up will be @ Tokyo! Can't wait for that & hope to be able to meet with her Sister at that time too! Great night!! Great Food!! Great Drinks!! Great Gathering!!

Monjayaki Feast

初めてにもんじゃ焼を食べた時は二年前日本へ行った時です。

It was back in 2 years ago I first tried Monjayaki when I visited Japan.

その時、日本人の友達と一緒に東京月島のモンジャ通りでもんじゃ焼屋で美味しいモンジャを食べた。

At that time, my Japanese friend brought me to Tokyo Tsukishima Monja street, we had delicious Monjayaki in Monjayaki shop.

今回はシンガポールで優子さんとのりこちゃん一緒にもんじゃ焼きを食べました。

This time was in Singapore, I had delicious Monjayaki together with Yuuko-san & Noriko-chan.

シンガポールにももんじゃ焼が食べられる, 其れはいいですね！

I can even get to eat monjayaki here in Singapore, this is great isn't?

何時もシンガポールでいろいろな美味し日本料理が食べられる、幸せの気持ちになった！

I feel bless & happy that I could even get to eat various delicious Japanese food here in Singapore.

P/S: Monjayaki (もんじゃ焼き) (often called simply "monja") is a type of Japanese pan-fried batter with various ingredients. It is similar to okonomiyaki but monjayaki, a specialty of the Kanto region, is made with a dough more liquid than is okonomiyaki. The ingredients are finely chopped and mixed into the batter before frying. The mixture is far runnier than okonomiyaki, and it has a consistency comparable to a pool of melted cheese when cooked. It is then eaten directly off the grill using a small metal spatula. Many monjayaki restaurants can be found in the Tsukishima district of Tokyo, where the dish is said to have originated. Most also serve regular okonomiyaki.

Bi Birthday Celebration

旦那さんの誕生日お祝いでしゃぶしゃぶ屋へ行きました。

We went to Shabu Shabu House during Bi's Birthday Celebration.

しゃぶしゃぶが好きですから、誕生日のお願い事はその食べ物にします。

Bi likes Shabu Shabu, hence that was his Birthday request to have it for dinner,

その時、黒豚しゃぶしゃぶを食べた、其れに焼鮭明太子と枝豆を食べた、美味しいかたです。

We had Black Pork Shabu Shabu @ that time and besides that, we also had grilled salted spiced roe salmon & poached green soy beans. It was so delicious!

Boon's Farewell Party

This colleague of mine who join on the same day with me is now saying goodbye to me in this Company as he had found a greener field over in another Company. So just before he say goodbye to us, few of us organised a farewell party get-together for him. Just some simple food & drinks @ The Loof which is a Roof Top Bar right after work on a Friday night.
