11:33 PM It was almost 2 years since I last made this No-bake strawberry cheesecake, hence decided to recap my memory once again. On 28 Jun, yet another Saturday again, dearie busy with the National Day Parade, while I head to church to help out banner dept which I have not been and unable to be ther for quite sometime. So right after the help out in church, I took a bus to Orchard Osetan to grab the ingredients ready to make cheesecake but little did I know that I was not able to grab all the required ingredient. =( From Isetan Supermarket while buying, saw りえさん buying some groceries too. Such a concidence isn't? . . .and head to Takashimaya Cold Storage hoping to buy the rest of the ingredients which I did not manage to get them..so purchase of ingredients flow to Sunday after church service head off to Careerfour @ Plaza Singapura. . .And finally managed to grab all ingredients and what are they? Check out the steps of making No Bake Strawberry Cheesecake and ingredients used on both words and pictures below:- No-Bake Strawberry Cheesecake Preparation time: Approx. 45 minutes + 6 hours chilling Makes 23-cm cake Base Butter ~ 110g, diced Digestive Biscuits ~ 200g, finely crushed Brown Sugar ~ 2 Tbsp, firmly packed Cornflakes ~ 50g, crushed Filing Philidephia Plain Cheese ~ 500g, diced Castor Sugar ~ 100g Lemon Juice ~ 1 Tbsp, strained Powdered Gelatine ~2 Tbsp, dissolved in 100ml hot water Thickened Cream ~ 300ml Fresh Strawberries or Strawberries in can ~1 box/1 can Steps:- Base

     My colleagues had tried them and said that they were nice & yummy but somehow I felt that the base part is not good enough, I guess I should add in more butter the next round. 1:40 AM 27 Jun, Friday[金曜日], meet up with YuHui after work, she arrived early and got to make her wait for me to knock off, sorry for have kept you waiting gal. Nicole was suppose to join us but last min couldn't make it due to work and plus she wan't feeling well, hopefully can meet up with Nicole and YuHui next round wor. Went to UOB center to pick YuHui and proceed to walk to Far East Square at Cross Steet to have our dinner at this recommended place"Curry San" as this friend of mine simply love to eat Japanese Curry. Moreover the Curry San serve big portion at reasonable price, the bad thing is that it closes at 8pm which is quite early isn't? And pictures were taken below for viewing pleasure ->What's next?    From Raffles MRT station, walking down to cross street and head of to Chinatown for desserts at "Ji De Chi", its a small shop where they sell local delights and nice desserts. Do give it a try if you happen to pass by! We simply enjoy our time together chatting happily away and of course snaping pictures away too. There could have been more pictures if Nicole join us but thats ok, there will be a next time =)  We walk down to Outram MRT station acompany one another in the train while heading home. Enjoy the time with her and looking forward for our next session at Waraku together with??? Let's see. YuHui foot must be painful yesterday as I make her take such a long walk from Raffles all the way to Outram station but we save abit of $$$ by walking anyway and as well as burning fats for both of us. 12:28 PM On 14 Jun,received greetings post card from downunder, from a nice friend of mine in Sydney. And who is this person? It's Lumpy, Dom Dom..heez..Thanks for all those lovely postcard which you have send all these while =) Shall catch up with you when you are back to your hometown again and of course, email chat & msn chat is a no problem thing although you may seem so far away from me but we chat quiet often isn't? =) Take care my friend and stay in touch and send my regards to Jodie too =)  On 15 Jun, tried cooking for dinner with the sauce which I've bought from Isetan Supermarket and it taste good!! Japanese BBQ sauce which are to marinate with the meat best ovenight and to stir-fry it following day with spring onion. 11:38 PM It's hubby working late shift scheduled this week, so I have to settle my own dinner. After work, yesterday, took a bus down to Isetan Orchard & had my dinner @ TCC. Had something healthy and not to miss -> my favourite coffee. While eating, at the same time busy with re-design of Lumpy's website banner and finally managed to had it amended =) I hope she like the new banner made for her =) And here's my dinner for the day, Wholemeal Bread Chicken & Mushroom & Toasted Hazelnut Latte:-  Took a bus back to meet Dearie and interchange thereafter ...looking forward to weekend!! 11:52 PM Finally managed to go to the gym today after work thought work incomplete but I just pack up and left office to rush for a work out session in the gym. And how long did I ran this round? Check out pictures below:-  Oh mine!!! Finally feel the pain on my foot now after a long run of 6.63 KM in 45 MINS! But was an enjoyable one. 11:08 AM Wooooo, I had a great buy during Isetan Sales 2 weeks back. Hubby spotted my favourite Timberland boots which I much wanted to buy early this year for this year Japan trip but the original cost of the boots was SGD 299!!! たかいてしょ？BUT currently after all the discount, make a wild guess how much did I pay?? End up paying only SGD 67..such a good deal isn't? 11:55 PM On Saturday, Finally managed to meet up with MeiTin that lovely gal =) Had not seen her for about 2 months le and we spend the whole day together. Now where did we go? 11:21 PM Was supposed to meet up with Dearie after work but later was he told to work late =( There goes the time with him again =( So since I had some work to clear at work, I took the time in the office clearing some of my work till about half pass 7, received an sms from Ikumi asking if its possible to meet up. Hence left office about 8.15 pm heading to town to meet my Jap friend, いくみ and not just her, she brought along another Jap friend, りえさん to link me up with her too. We had been mentioning wanted to meet up but hasn't be able to arrange, so finally opportunity came =) いくみ Husband had to work late too just as the same with my hubby, so we had one another company, was glad that although its a last min arrangement but the meet up went smooth and well too. Initially plan was to head for dinner at DOME place Isetan but it was long que, so we tried going to Sun with Moon @ Wheelock Place too, was even worst...got to wait for at least an hour wor!!!! So long isn't? So last alternative was to have our dinner @ Cedele by Bakery Depot right opposite Sun With Moon. Well, at least we have a place to have our dinner and chit chat =) Yeah! Another Jap friend to practice my Jap language too. 9:41 PM Went to the gym after work to keep myself fit & same time to burnt away extra fats in my body :P I plan to run for at least 4 km but unknowingly I had ran 5.10 km in 35 mins and burning 270 calories..Yeah! Another new record for me, I hope to run 6km, 7km and gradually increase the distance as I train in gym. I am glad that I did it again and well at least I eat and at the same time exercise to balance it :P 猛特訓がんばります！！ Still waiting for Yuqi to "Jio" me to go gym together wor...YuQi..if you are reading my blog..when ah? 9:10 PM Finally bought Shiseido make up products to give it a try as I plan to grab them in Japan during my trip next time. Why? B'coz its cheaper than buying in Singapore and there are more range than in Singapore. I was using Chanel make-up all these years and finally switched to Shiseido as I find that prices for Chanel make-up has been rising has Euro Dollar goes up. For example, the loose powder when I first bought them was about SGD 49 but as years goes by, it has increased up to SGD 68 now, Oh my gosh!!! Expensive isn't? 11:01 PM As Hubby was working late shift for the week, I usually take this time to meet up my friends in the evening after work, so please do contact me if you wanna have dinner with me or catch up :P So far, most of my time were spend with いくみ, do enjoy her company as we can both help one another improve our languages as we communicate. I was glad there were so much to talk about with her, topics about Japan, Singapore, Cooking, languages & more...I hope she enjoyed my company as much as I do too =) Meet up with her on Tuesday, 10 Jun for dinner @ the food court @ Raffles City Shopping Center and after our meal, window shop for awhile before we proceed to Yakun for coffee & tea session as we chat along till the shop closed. Glad that there was a direct bus from my office straight down to Holland Village, I simply like to be there specially and without fail to grab the Yummy Bakeries @ The Provence, Japanese Bakeries shop and where did we had our dinner? 11:39 PM Finally had a get-together session with Wendy, BeeHong, Angie as well as Manjit too who had just came back from South Africa holiday with his wife. I was about unable to make it due to rushing for my month-end work deadline, but however,thank the Lord I managed to be there but was late for an hour or more, well at least I managed to meet up with them. It's been such long time I last saw BeeHong & Angie, yet still both of them look great! And as usual, the loud voice of Angie can be heard even when you are far away from her..heez =) So much to chat and catch-up as we dine together @ Vivo City No Sign Board Seafood Restaurant. And not to missed the pictures:-  Thumps up for the food!!! It's nice, yummy oishii =) There will be another session with them again as most of them like, Julie(due to her cat was sick, had to send it to the vet), Jocelyn( busy with company D&D), Meekuen( busy with month-end closing), Karen (busy with exams preparation) so couldn't make it on that day session, so they missed one another =( But the day will come for reunion =) Thanks Manjit for the ride back home, was a long ride isn't? 11:41 PM All Thanks to Ikumi guidance, I've managed to made this yummy tori karage [美味しい鳥肉からげ]. Indeed it is simple and most of all it taste great! Hey, I'm not boasting about my cooking, I'm just speaking the fact that with the powder and chicken cubes, it simply make nice tori karage which is Japanese fried chicken. And to taste even better, squeeze some lemon on it, taste yummy!! 12:54 AM Meet up with Joanne my ex.colleague who is also a long time friend of mine. We had lunch together @ Coffee Club @ Raffles outlet and chatted awhile, trying to catch up as during at work last time, we hardly had the opportunity to chat so now is the opportunity, guess we were so engrossed into topic that I forgot to take a picture with her..ahhhhh..next time I guess. But food pictures which I will never forget and here they are:  And in the evening, meeting up with My indonesian friend, Adi who had just return from Tokyo for a week. Had knew him for years and has been in touch with him too. Got to know him through my Jap friend, Tomoko san but unfortunately both Adi & myself lost touch with her =( This meet up purpose is also to link up Ikumi san with him as Adi speaks fluent Japanese as he has been working in Japan for years. Adi can be both English & Japanese translator for the day for both Ikumi & myself :D I'm glad all of us had fun chatting away. Shall plan for another session next round. 9:42 PM On 4 Jun, Wednesday ~ During lunch hours, meet up with AiMei who had just return from her holiday @ Spain & Swizterland and now back to pack her stuff moving on to Melbourne with her husband. Both of them will be working in Melbourne but not sure how long will they be there for. Thanks for the yummy chocolates from Swizterland, they were indeed lovely isn't? YenNie & Julie? Bubble sure agree with me as we had the most pieces, as for Julie bcoz you have the cake so lesser chocolate for u :P And at the same time meet up YenNie this "Tai Tai" women who had been enjoying herself out there after left Ogilvy. 4 of us had great fun catching up but time were running short due to my short lunch hour =( Well, just hope for another session again. At the same time I took this opportunity to celebrate my buddy Julie's birthday, presenting her the gift shared among the 3 of us too. Just hope she likes it...during around 5 plus, my current colleagues also bought her a birthday cake to celebrate her birthday in advance as this gal is going be on leave day after, shiok isn't? 11:17 PM On 5 Jun~Finally had this opportunity to meet up with Nicole by the help of YuHui. Thanks for organising this meet up =) And truely Thanks for friendster & blogger for keeping us in touch back again YuHui, else I would have really lost touch with u now. Looking back, it was since secondary school time when we last see one another, right Nicole? Hmmmm, turning to be a prettier babe now and hope you have a better balance life at work for time to come. May you get a new job which you fond of and of course better remuneration & shorter working hours too :P Agree with me YuHui? Although it was such a long time we have not meet one another but still there are so much to talk about throughout the dinner @ WestMall MOS burger. 2:03 AM Meet up with Yuhui on Saturday, 31 May 08. Purpose, to catch-up with her & at the same time pass her Miniture House which she bought it from my dearie. Yes & finally dearie manage to sold one item from all that he had brought back from our Japan trip this year. Proceed to take train to town accompanied Hui to collect her miniture set which she ordered @ a shop in Wheelock place->Yes she's a minitures lover. Thereafter head off to munch in Japanese Restaurant "Sun with Moon Japanese Dining and Cafe". Initially Hui mentioned to me she only have an hour to spend with me but end up we spend the whole afternoon together happily chatting away in the restaurant. Thanks for your company gal, great time spend together and not forgetting about the 美味しい日本料理. Below are pictures taken for sharing :-    About The Restaurant : The Food The all-day restaurant has different menu for lunch, afternoon café and dinner. Aside from the fact that sashimi is regretfully missing in the afternoon café menu, Sun with Moon has a fine range of both quality and novel Japanese dishes from which you are almost certainly going to find something endearing. The signature staple dish of Sun with Moon is the Kamameshi, a more delicate cousin of the local favourite clay pot rice. The afternoon café features the scaled down version, the Mini Yakiniku Kamameshi served steaming hot ($9.80+++, $12.30+++ with Miso Soup and Cold Dish). A little hourglass on top indicates when the wooden lid may be lifted to release the pent up fragrance of premium quality rice, a cute gimmick which delights diners nonetheless. Do not miss out on the desirable Japanese sushi rolls. The Rainbow Roll (6 pcs, $12.80) comprises of crispy soft shell crab, mango, avocado rolled in seaweed with Japanese rice seasoned with vinegar, covered with mayonnaise and topped with bright tangy crunchy smelt roe. Was such a happy day she had as she get to collect her Minitures house from me, collected her favourite Miniture set from Wheelock & later was her books at Kinokuniya.
