Such a hot weather today isn't? [今日はあつかたですね?]

Went to the church by myself today as dear need to report for work today due to F1 event. [旦那きょう仕事から, わたしひとりできょうかいいきました.] Thereafter meet up with Ayu-chan [そしてあゆちゃんおあいます]. We had lunch together @ Marina Square, intended to bring her to Esplanade but due to F1, roadway was block. My itinenary was to bring her to the Cookie Museum to have tea and try the lovely cookies there, now will have to wait for the next time.

After our lunch, we took a train down to Novena for a Fish Spa Session, it was her first time trying fish spa, and she mentioned that it was a good experience for her and she enjoy it. And lastly, we took a train down to ChinaTown to tour around the streetshops, it was so hot that I was sweating like mad. Hate it...sweating away while walking. And we had our dinner there too. Our last stop was the dessert shop along ChinaTown area just to cool ourselves down and we took train back home. I was glad that she did enjoy herself :)

Lesson on weekend

Oh man! ACCA lesson on my weekend, there goes my saturday :( Lesson begins from 2 to 5 pm. And I was late still, walking so fast that I sweat like mad @ point of reaching FTC, and still, had difficulties find where is the lesson held as its not the usual classroom. It's located on the 2nd floor this round and I don't know how to proceed there either, finally saw FTC staff, asked them for direction..reaching the class still sweating away. Aiyoooo...so embrassing..late la...sweating away la..lesson already started 15 mins ago ..Haiz.

After lesson, walk down to Isetan supermarket to purchase all those ingredients which I needed for making Okonomiyaki as Mum Marina & Joycelyn Mei will be coming to our house this coming wednesday which is also a public holiday. Yipee!!

Lots of programmes upcoming, gonna be so busy ..monday business home meeting, tuesday to hair salon with my colleague, wednesday to farm & plantation tour with mum marina & Joycelyn Mei, thusday ACCA lesson...my schedules are so packed isn't?

Oh yes, Iku-chan is back to Singapore, I have to arrange meet up with her and Ayu-chan too. Got to find free day..when??? Hmmm..got to plan for it.

And for tomrw after church, will be meeting up with Ayu-chan. Shall be her tour guide for the day, showing her round Singapore :)

I'm gonna be tour guide temporary for tomrw :P

Sweat out in Gym

How did I spend my friday evening? I went to the gym..it was so long ago since I last went..and after a short run, I went to join the Body Combat session for half an hour..really sweat like mad..it was fun but had difficulty in coordination with hands and legs..kind of embrassing but who cares? No one knows who I am :P But really felt its good form of workout to keep fit and shape up. Which I really need!!!! I can't believe it that after joining my new organisation, I had put on 3 kg...ahhhhhhhh....thats horrible isn't? I got to loose weight, go on diet and shape up meh!!! Can't afford to continue to put on weight gradually anymore. Haiz....sigh..shoeee shoeeee..off the fats!!

After work today,took a bus to head down Takashimaya to meet Rie-Chan. She will be permenantly leaving Singapore this sunday as her work contracted had ended here in Singapore. One nice friend left :( Now she is still busying packing her luggages and there are just too much things to pack..she so stress about it.

We meet up @ Tokichi Japanese Restaurant @ 4th storey in Takashimaya and at the same time she intro a new friend to me which is her successor, Ayu-chan. Old friend goes and new friend comes, but I hope to maintain our friendship still even when she is back to Tokyo. We chatted lots throughout the dinner and Rie-chan offer to give us a treat too. ありがとうりえちゃん! 今日ほんとに嬉しいですよ, ありがとうねあゆちゃんも嬉しいですか? たぶんね. Joanne's Wedding - 結婚おめでとございます!

After work on monday, went to attend my ex.colleague, Joanne's wedding which was held @ Marina Mandarin Hotel. It was almost like a reunion with my old colleagues, as colleagues & friends like Wendy, Angellia, BeeHong, Manjit & wife, Joy, Glenise, Jennifer, Jean, Aaron, Esther, Rena, Chay Kiang and someother ex.colleagues of mine were there too. We were all there to share the Joyous moment with Joanne & her husband, Marcus. She simply look so gorgeous on her Big Day, just like a princess..and so does her husband..The Gorgeous looking Princess & Prince!

And even their wedding fotos look beautiful too, And I have a mission to do for the day??? - Which is to snap fotos for Dom Dom to see as she was unable to be here :P

The black gown was unique and gorgeous isn't?

Happy for Joanne & Marcus, finally after so many years, the day has come to their big day. Had knew her for 6 years plus and had always ask her so when's your big day? She will tell me, not so soon..this and that. Really glad for both of them and hereby wishing them both a Blessed Marriage as they unite their hearts in One.

今朝方バスで学校へいきました [This morning I went to school via bus], そして朝ご飯おたべました[took my breakfast therafter]. 九じ五じうっぷんからじういちじじう五分まで日本語試験おするんです.[I begin my Jap test from 9.50 am and ends @ 11.15 am].

I was so shock when I was the first one to called for the oral test, but the oral test went fine..phew!! And then the listening & written test started from 10.30am and ends at 11.15am. It's my first time taking the listening test which also did went fine, only until the written test, oh mine..so many questions to answer but only given half an hour to finish it...so stress so stress..working on the questions and keeping watch at the time..ahh..short timing given isn't? And there are quite a few questions which I don't know how to do wor..haiz..no choice what done is done but prayed for grace marks to be given to me and that I will so find favour in the sight of my teacher too. わたしとせんせい一緒に写真とりました, それはわたし日本語せんせいです[I took a picture with my japanese teacher, and here's my teacher picture]:-

After the test, me and my classmate, Sabrina san went for lunch @ Tokichi Jap restaurant at Isetan. 昼ご飯は美味しい過多です[The lunch was delicious], 一緒に写真もとりました,観てください [We took pictures together too, please take a look at these pictures]:-

Shortly after we finished our lunch, we received sms text from the school on our results. 日本語試験はどうでしたか? [How was my Japanese test?] I've passed, hurray!! But..my standard of my results dropped again..level one I managed to score at least 7/10 for my oral and 72/100 for my written, but this round I scored 8/10 for my oral and 61/100 for my listening & written test, just passed the passing mark only. Indeed was the grace mark that was given to me..got to work harder and practice more on the past tense, continuous tense, present tense which always confuses me..now got to wait for dates to release for my intermediate lesson and register together with Sabrina san. And she too passed her test, scoring better marks then me, her level one she scored 9/10 for her oral and 96/100 for her written, smart isn't? And these round she scored 7/10 for oral and 76/100 for written..so much better than me. もっともっと頑張るね!

After departed with her at Isetan, I took a bus back home to rest as I have to attend my cousin wedding dinner @ Qian Xi Restaurant at Farrer Road. Went with my dearie via train and a few minutes walking distance to reach the location of the dinner. Here's picture taken:-

The dinner ended about 11pm, generally the food was nice and service was alright too. Had a tiring day...another wedding dinner of my ex.colleague to attend on upcoming monday @ Marina Mandarin.

Took leave today to prepare for my japanese elementary level 2 test tomorrow.
And dearie took leave to accompany me too..ありがとう.

For the test tomorrow, I have to score at least 60 and above before I can move to intermediate level, otherwise I will have to retake the test in 2 weeks time. I hope to clear this level once again by the grace of my Lord. The classes ended in 8 lessons for each level, fast isn't? Stress stress...but I'm not gonna give up, the more I will strive harder. But balancing studies in Jap and ACCA isn't easy, time commitment is truely a must and practice is a must too.

Church Sunday School Presentation on Old Testament Bible Series

It's Sunday Church day, and I was supposed to be @ church at 8.45 am but was late..ahh..I simply had difficulty waking up early. Took a cab to church reaching there 9.15am but was glad that I managed to do my part in make up for the kids. As I serve in the make up department in church, it will be required of me to make-up for their performance, it's an honour to be able to serve the Lord in His Kingdom. Praise the Lord! A Fruitful Saturday

Its the last 2nd lesson for my Jap class..fast isn't? next week will be the test le..so stress..if I score b/w 50 to 59 still got to retake test before I can proceed to next intermediate level. It's getting tougher already..I hope to make it and had plan to take leave on friday to recap everything before my test on saturday. Lately has been exhausted, not resting well..so I was late for 10 mins for my Jap lesson. I hope to remember all the group 1, group 2, exceptional verbs which will definitely be tested..May the Lord help me to remember and apply correctly =) There will be listening, oral & written test as mentioned by なかにしせんせい. Pray hard to do well, 来週の試験がんばります!

Meet up with dear MeiTin after my Jap lesson, we had lunch at Ichiban Boshi @ PS outlet, just before we proceed to our movie at Picture house. Its my first time watching movie with my girlfriend wor..hehe.gal u so honor wor :P
She suggested to watch this new Jap movie "Boys over flowers the movie" [はなだん].

It was a more than 2 hour movie, long isn't? And it's full house wor ..quite an interesting and nice movie. Head for a foot massage at Chinatown after the movie..finally able to bring MeiTin there to give it a try, 45 mins for 20 bucks as recommended by いくちゃん. Hope she enjoy it =)

Indonesian Food

Yet another working day isn't? And it's only tuesday...Meet up with いくちゃん after work, just before she return to Japan on friday. She will only return 2 weeks later, will miss her company :< She is so looking forward for her return to visit her in laws and family at Kyuushu & Tokyo. I'm sure she gonna have a good time there...well before she return, she got to grab some souvenirs & goodies back for them so here I am trying to help her too. Hence after our dinner,we proceed to Chinatown as there are lots of Singapore souvenirs & goody food that she can grab. Now where did we had dinner? [じゃあ, 夜ご飯に, どこでたべましょうか?]

It's at a Indonesian Restaurant since 1989 by the name "Pagi Sore" which I had been mentioning to her about. She simply love spicy food and I know that they serve yummy spicy food, so brought her there to try some of their specialities such as Otar Fish[Ikan Otah Kukus], BBQ Squid[Cumi Bali], stir fried french beans with balachan[ T. Buncis Belachan].料理はどう? 美味しいですか? 好きですか? And there are some other delicious item too which has a reasonable price range if you check out from their website. Keen to try out?
