Crabby Lunch @ Don Place

There were team lunch together with my boss & colleagues as to official farewell 2 of my colleagues who will be transferred out of our team. They suggested to have Sri Lanka crab beehoon @ Don place. Was such a big claypot portion which is ok for 2 to share, but all of us had our individual claypot of crab beehoon. I was really really so full after finishing everything, eating crab was really so troublesome...arghzzzz.
But well, afterall it was a nice meal actually, pictures taken below:-

Advance Birthday Treat from lovely friends

After work today, I was given an advance birthday dinner treat by my lovely friends, Julie Meow Meow & Bubble cum Suck Air Yennie =) Both Julie & myself left office about 6.50pm, stroll walk down to meet Yennie @ The Central, how romantic walk we had, hands by hands we walk along the romantic riverside, enjoying the night scenic =) Reached there in about 10 to 15 mins, save $$ by walking instead of taking train & same time exercise too :P

All of us ordered the food which we wanted and chatted for a moment before the food was served, was the main dish then the desserts served after our main course. Here's the picture taken for the day for fun viewing pleasure :-

My Neighbour 10th Wedding Anniversary & celebration of child 1st birthday

Right after church service, both dearie & me rush home to meet our neighbour who droved us down to the celebration venue of our Malay neighbour's child 1st year birthday as well as their 10th wedding anniversary. Lots of food catered at the venue but it was such a humid hot weather yesterday, all of us were sweating like mad! Some pictures taken for the day for viewing pleasure:-

Right after the makan session, my neighbour drove us to a whole sale vegetable farm area just for viewing pleasure and there were lots of organic vegetables planted and sale was available too. Besides there was a huge Ancient Fish displayed too, it was really gigantic huge and long in size too. Had some pictures taken:-

Dinner with Dearie @ Sushi Tei Holland Village

Had lesson from 2 to 5 pm and dearie came to pick me up after lesson. We took a bus down to Holland Village to grab yummy breads @ Provence and walk downwards to have our dinner @ Sushi Tei. Although the picture on the menu looks good but was quite dissapointed in the taste of the food, especially dearie, he was much much dissapointed. He had only a few bites of the food and did not finish them, he was complaining that their Katsu Don was too hard and too thick too. Dearie's standard of Jap food had gone to another level now...Ha ha! Must be all the Jap food he had in Japan, makes him know more how to appreciate what sort of Jap food are really nice and which are not. Here's photo of the food we ate on Saturday:

My Very First Public Run, The Bull Charge 2008!

Today was the SGX Bull Charge Run held @ Padang. Lots of people were there to join in this charity fun run in the CBD. It was a great experience to me on such an ocassion but running in a crowd wasn't very enjoyable as runners tends to block your way as the road path was quite narrow. Well, overall was alright others then the muddy ground at the field & the humid weather. The moment when the run started, it was like a ten mins walk as the crowd was just too pack to kick off the run. There were food served after the run too as well as goody bags distributed to all runners too. Best part is??? Can leave office early :P Both me & my colleague left office @ 3.45pm to walk down to Plaza II to meet up with his colleagues from another department, and from participating the run, get to know 4 new friends, further expansion to the circles of my friends =)

Record of my 3.2Km Bull charge run was 20.43 mins, it can be better isn't?
After the run, off to california gym @ raffles to take a bath in refreshing myself & then off home to meet dear for dinner.

I hoping for yet another opportunity of such run again!

Getting ready for SGX Bull Charge?

Finally received the shirt, number tag & 8 safety pins today from my colleague.
Snap a picture of it as a rememberance of my first public run participation and here it is:-

Although size of the shirt is small size but it look rather big too big, perhaps its men's size I supposed. 3 more days to the run and it's like a half day thing to me on friday as I will most probably leave office around 3 or 3.30pm as we are suppose to reach Padang by 4.30pm.

Looking forward for this 3.2km fun run =)

And today after work, I went to the gym for a run, it's been quite sometime since I last ran. Today's record, 6.5km @ 45 mins burning 360 calories =)

Lynn's Wedding

Today its my PSB classmate, Lynn wedding day and I was invited to attend her dinner dinner held @ Imperial Garden Restaurant, SAFRA Yishun Country Club. Its been real long time since we last saw one another, I remember vivdly its was during my wedding day 15 May 2004 when we last saw one another. Glad to know that she finally settled down le, happy for her. And my husband was invited to her wedding dinner too.

I was almost late in attending her dinner, Thank God manage to get a cab and rush there. Was glad that by the time I reach there, the march in has not started yet. Still have time for me to browse her wedding pictures and same time took some pictures too. Overall food was nice and the serving was quite generous too, glad to even saw Lisa & others of my PSB time classmate. But I guess only Lisa recognise me, it was seversal years back when we last seen one another when I took the Business Administration Course in PSB Academy. Took some pictures for the team too and most of all I am glad to be able to take pictures with Lynn. Here's the picture taken for the day:-

晩ご飯友居酒屋にたべました！[Dinner @ Tomo Izakaya]

Was a busy busy work day on a friday for me!! For the whole day only went to the ladies 3 times!! Why busy? Perhaps because auditors are here and plus maybe now is the peak period for me? Not sure either as its still consider a new job to me, have not really have a feel for the whole year on when is peak and when is non-peak. More to find out as times goes by.

Well! Good thing is its friday, yipee!! And after work I meet up with my lovely gal, MeiTin. We try to arrange at least meet up for once a month, to chat, to feast to catch up with one another life too. Its nice having to know her and till now although I am still taking my accounting studies, I do miss the times having lessons with her, chatting away and others. I was telling her that till now I still do not have any classmate whom I can chat or talk to during lesson =( We both have the same feeling as she is currently attending revision class and missing my presence too. Hmmm..well I just thank the Lord having to know one another during my CAT paper 3 last lesson few years back. Friends are really gift from God =) Treasure the friendship we have!

I walk from my office to Clarke Quay to meet up with her and then walk to Central to purchase birthday gift for one of my friend and thereafter walk to Liang Court Meidi-ya supermarket to purchase some of her stuff and helping my colleagues to buy some food too. Oh yes, there was Matsuri Festival Japan Cultural event held @ The Central and Thank God MeiTin did brought along camera as I forgotten to bring it for the day. She snap some pictures of the nice & cute dance by japanese kids.

And finally to our dinner venue and where did we dine in? Yes, Its Japanese food again as both myself and her likes japanese food. Simply love it! I make a reservation @ this restaurant called "Tomo Izakaya" which I got to know it when I walk passed it last friday. The interior design looks Authetic Japanese Style dinning place, like it, hence check out the food. Rating of the food was quite nice but the part is pricing wise I find it quite expensive as we were shock when asking for the bill to found out that it cost about SGD 120++ but Thank God there is 15% discount for paying via DBS card, end up paying about SGD 107++. Their operating hours is till 3 a.m, so hungry people out there, you can give it a try of their food and enjoy the ambience out there with their live jazz performance while enjoying the food with your friends. And as far as I know, this restaurant is quite well known in Japan so its no harm giving a shot ya.

Others then the price, we enjoyed the time & food and ambience there. Agree with me gal? We had so much to talk about till we left the restaurant about 11pm. Great time with you gal! See you soon again next round and for now we have to がんばって for our upcoming exams in Dec le. Stress !! Stress!! No mood to study wor..haiz, b'coz its full theory paper. Simply hate theory, but still not giving up and hope to clear this paper too.

Great GuiSha Session & Gift from Japan

How did I spend my Saturday???

I went to GuiSha Workshop with Julie & Iku-chan, it was a great learning session about beauty knowledge & others. I hope both of them enjoy themselves too just as much as I did. Was really amazed by the GuiSha effect which was immediate effect which shown on both Julie & Iku-chan radiant face. Julie if you are reading my blog,do remember to be hardworking enough to do more Guisha, let your face nice nice to prepare till the big day comes :)

Well, as for me, I would like both my hubby & my mum to be my GuiSha model, to practise on their face as well as doing on my own face too, since I had learn them, its good to put to practise so that I can remember better. My blog reader out there, interested to find out more on GuiSha? I can share more on it if you are keen to know. Its just so amazing of the benefits of GuiSha!! I'm enjoying it =)
Thanks for Sis.Shirina & Sis.Daphne for the guidance on the day ya, was a great knowledge sharing and so personalise :)

Friday night and a great weekend to start!

After work on friday, meet up with dearie to walk towards Liang Court from my office as I would like to go to Meidi-ya supermarket to purchase some stuff and also to have our dinner there. Apparently wanted to dine @ Nirai-Kanai but it was full house and we did not make any reservation, so no choice but to take an alternative to dine along the food corner of Meidi-ya. Had some simple japanese food as posted on my blog and also dearie bought me a surprise advance birthday gift from Ashworth but was quite sporty look which isn't my style, hmmm..deep in my heart although don't really like such style but because he make an effort to buy it, I will try to wear them else he will be deep upset. In the supermarket, Spend almost nearly 100 bucks inclusive of helping my colleague to buy their items and a special sweet potato stick snack for me. Here's picture of the day:-

Lately I had been quite busy with so many things but still I am enjoying my life thou the busyness going on :) Below are some of the food which I had prepared at home for a healthy meal dosage but these food were cooked sometime ago which I had overlook to post them on my blog :) Yummy delicious, 何時も美味しいですよ!

楽しいかた！！

After lesson back home today, received letter from Oishii Media Japan Pte Ltd! I was so glad that its a letter to inform & congrats me for being one of the winners of O+ lucky draw for the month of September. And I will be eligible to get the gift which I had choosen which is Mizkan Kingoma Sesame Sauce. But I will have to collect it from their office which is located at 82 Genting Lane. #04-04, Media Centre. Have no idea where it is, got to check it out wor.

I'm so glad to have won it although it wasn't s big gift.

And I had just registered in for the October draw which I had choosen S$50 dining voucher & I hope to get the Nirai-Kanai S$50 Dining voucher.

Hope to have another envelope from them again :)

Now look forward to weekend!!

Another day of Kranji Countryside Tour with My Japanese Friends

It was a saturday & non class day that I planned an outing with my Jap friends. Wanted to show them this wonderful great place and here I am again. I was so glad to be able to bring them there, mt up with them at Kranji MRT station @ 9.40am so as to catch the 10am Kranji Express bus. Also it was the first time Ayu chan get to meet Iku chan and I'm sure they have much things to talk about. Now check out the pictures we have taken for the day:-
