1:36 PM Was revising my exam whole day till about 6pm, went to pick YuHui from the station. We had dinner together at home & chatted for sometime too. Nice to see her again, it's been sometime I last saw her. Hope she had a great time both in companion & enjoyed the home-cook dinner too. Hope you dn't mind just the 2 simple dishes wor. 12:21 PM Opps!! Another outdated post =) No choice as I had been busy lately. Below picture taken during a dinner catch up with Iku-chan on 19 Nov 08. After work I met up with her @ Liang Court to have our dinner as suggested by her as she mentioned that there were quite a few new restaurants opened on the 2nd storey of Liang court. Oh mine!!! I didn't know that there were restaurants right on 2nd level. And yes, indeed I was so glad to see a few Jap restaurants which Iku-chan recommended and of which we were having dilema decided whether to have Okonomyaki or the pasta shop, both look nice & delicious in appearance and wanna make a guess which did we choose??? Tata!!! answer is the pasta shop which was known as famous/well known in Japan Tokyo according to Iku-chan. Service was good, price was amazingly reasonable, cheap and nice food serve; with choice from Pasta to baked rice to pizza and etc. You can't believe the price when you take a look at the menu and even price of their wine, I was simply impressed by it. Friends & blog readers out there, Pop down & give it a try! Here's pictures taken :-   What do you think of the price? Cheap isn't? Portion was just nice too =) Thanks Iku-chan for yet another great recommendation!!Arigatou =) YuHui, Yiping, Nicole, we should pop down and try it wor. Next meet up?? 6:06 PM After church today, while on my way back home in the bus, happened to passed by OCBC bank & saw the notice that they are started to operate on sunday as well. Oh mine!!! 7 days a week workdays can drive me crazy but guess times as such left them no choice isn't? Its the recession period now, so we have to be wise regardless of changing jobs, spending and others. Remember to save it for rainy days especially when you have the capability to do so. 2:21 PM Today is the first day I begin my leave to be @ home concentrating on my exam revison. Having tough time staying awake studying through the law paper with so much words as its a full theory paper. I am trying my best & praying that the Lord will enable me to absorb all the important notes & pointers that I may apply them during my exam on 2 Dec. May the wisdom, knowledge & the help of my Lord be upon me as always. Amen! At the same time making full use of the tape which I had recorded during lessons. This tape recorder has been with me since day 1 I started my Certified Accounting Technician lesson and had seen me through my qualification and now still making full use of it in my ACCA lesson. 9:34 PM Now here my sweet gal, MeiTin whom I get to know her during CAT classes. Ros to MeiTin:"Thank you for being so sweet, remembered & celebrated my birthday once again. "She wanted much to celebrate it with me before my birthday but I wasn't free up to be able to meet up, hence causes delayed. We celebrated on 13 Nov, meet up after our work @ Raffles City Shopping Center @ dine @ Shokudo, Japanese Restauarant with similar style as Marche. Was quite packed in there, there were lots of variety but standard of the food was so so. But anyway, its still the companion that is important isn't? 11:52 PM As my colleague is going to depart from Singapore to be with her husband in Dubai, few of my colleagues decided to give her a dinner treat @ a Cantonese Restaurant @ following venue on 12 Nov, Wednesday:- Name of Restaurant : Asia Grand Restaurant Venue : No.331 North Bridge Road, #01-02 & 01-05/08, Odeon Towers Tel: 6887-0010 We left office around 7.15 pm and procced to the dinner venue. Martha was a nice lady whom I knew in my current office, was sad to see her leaving but glad for her so that she can be with her hubby. Will miss her as a friend, colleague & lunch partner too. All of us enjoyed the food & the service too and of course not to miss which is the company of one another. 4:07 PM After work on friday, went for skin check @ Amway to find out condition of my skin type and which product suits be, it will be according to my skin test and will be advise to me =) Great isn't, using the right products which is according to your needs, thats what I am looking for and best of all, they even provide a simple make-up after the skin check so that you can leave the place nicely make up and not without make-out. Its essential for all ladys isn't? =) Also it does provide a hair scalp test too, to check whether you are a oily or normal hair type so that you can use the right hair shampoo. Simply love the service, blog readers out there, let me know if you like to find out more =) Thereafter, head for dinner @ soup restaurant with dearie and also accompanied dearie to order my birthday cake @ Esprit Cafe too. 9:06 PM It's mine 26th Birthday today! Time really flies, I was back then not even 20 years old when I know my hubby, and now I am already 26th, fast isn't? It's another year of Thanks giving for the Grace of the Lord upon my life each & every year. I prayed that I will continue to grow in the grace & the knowledge of my Lord Jesus, be successful in my business & studies too. Amen! I celebrated my birthday with my dearie yesterday as today is also my church 9th Anniversary celebration plus I have something on after the church service. So what was the plan yesterday? We head down to Orchard around 3 plus, first to meet YenNie to collect surprise present from her & Julie then head down to centrepoint to collect my birthday cake which dearie had bought for me from Esprit. And took a bus down to our dinner venue @ Goodwood Park Hotel, Shima Japanese Restaurant. It's a restaurant which I had tried it 10 years ago but was my dearie first time visit to Shima Restaurant. We had a set meal each & lots of picture taken in the restaurant too. Here they are for viewing pleasure:-      The food was tasty but of course can't compare to Shangri-La Nadaman Japanese restaurant still. But I stillI was glad that I had Chu-toro sushi,one of my favourite =) Had a healthy meal again! Thanks to my dearie. And back home, cake cutting session with my dearie when clock striked 12 am. Dearie celebrated my birthday for me once again =) Thanks for all the gift, food & love you had showered upon your dear =) Here's photo taken at home:-   But again =( No wishes from my mum. 10:00 PM As usual we went for our church service on sunday in the morning =) To be recharge & be renewed in the Lord as always. And later in the afternoon head to attend GSR course from 2 to 6 pm, was a long session but rather fruitful one. Just abit lengthy which makes me fall asleep but after the course, we walk down from tanjong pagar all the way to Clake Quay to have our dinner. And yes, we went to 京桃山, Kyomomoyama to have our dinner which is @ total bill 30% off. Yeah!! Once again great food plus great savings =) And lastly dearie bought crepe for me from basement of Liang Court, but taste was so so as I find it abit too sweet. 4:16 PM After work on wednesday, 29 Oct, meet up with my dear friend, いくちゃん. It was since the GuiSha session that I last saw her, we use to meet quite frequently but lately both of us were quite busy hence hardly have time to meet up. I still remember we first knew one another since 28 Apr, it was now about 6 months that we have known one another, time flies isn't? Was a nice friend that I got to know which we can both exchange language learning & cooking too =)
And again, I walk from office to The Central to meet her for dinner. We had no idea what to have for dinner, so we went walking around floor after floor to see what is nice to have. And finally, came to this Japanese restaurant which they are having Ladies night @ 30% off total bill,so we decided to dine in this restaurant by the name of Kyomomoyama [京桃山] located @ 3 storey. Food were generally nice & so is the ambience too. Especially their fabulous promotion, friends & blog readers out there are not to miss such great deal. More details of the restaurant below:- Monday Night 30% off all Nabemono such as Shabu Shabu, Sukiyaki & etc. Tuesday Night 30% off all Sushi Sashimi.
