On Christmas Day 2008
Monday, December 29, 2008
1:14 AM Went out with my spiritual Mum. Marina & Sis.Joycelyn together with my dearie. We wanted to go Malaysia Desauru at first but get to know that its only open in weekend, so we got to change our plans. At first we intend to go to Tree-top walk at Macritchie but due to the wet weather on Christmas eve, we have to cancel this plan. So in the end, became a feasting day throughout. Was brunch at Suntec City, treat from Mum.Marina, then we took a bus down to Six Avenue for Fish Spa session which was relocated from Thomson Road to Six Avenue, was so much bigger & nicer, most of all is, much more convenient for me as its nearer to my home than their previous location. I'm so glad, and now, they had add in massage services too, we can choose either the Fish Spa session or the massage. Took some nice pictures from the Fish Spa Village we had went & sharing it here:- After the fish spa session, took a bus down to Holland Village, Japanese Bakery Shop, Provence Bakery & Cafe as both Mei & Mum had not been there and wanted us to bring them there. Had some buns & coffee in the bakery cafe & last stop was to take a bus down to Clarke Quay and walk to Liang Court to bring them try out Saizeriya, Japanese Italian Restaurant as mentioned on my blog few rounds, recommending nice & value for money food. So here we are taking pictures as we enjoyed the food here:- We had a great fun out feasting away together. Looking forward to the next round . . Meeting up with わたなべせんせい
Sunday, December 21, 2008
1:00 AM On Saturday weekend, woke up @ about 11am to get myself ready to わたなべせんせい house. We were supposed to meet @ Causeway Point initially but she then later email me that after her lesson with her student @ her house, there will be Christmas party, hence invited me to join them. I took train to Sembawang station follow-by a bus for 2 bus-stop and there her maid was waiting for me to bring me to her house, so thoughtful of わたなべせんせい for arranging her maid to fetch me, she wanted to drove me to her house but was busy with her class hence unable to do so. But it's very thoughtful of her indeed for such an arrangement already. She was my very first Japanese teacher whom taught me 7-8 years ago, she mainly teaches in companies and ocassionally hold small classes at her home. Her training consultancy name is MIYABI JAPANESE TRAINING CONSULTANCY. I was so glad to be in touch with her again. Besides that moving her house from Woodland to Sembawang, she still looks the same back in 7-8 years ago. Even her mother-in-law looks good too, although already 70+ years old but still look healthy & still able to daily cook meals for her family members, great isn't? I had a great time enjoying her homemade Japanese culinary and getting to know new friends who are her students about 5 of them. I enjoyed both the cold somen as well as made your own handroll as shown on pictures below. Her students left about 2pm while I stay @ her house to catch-up with her. Had a great chat with her about so many things ater so many years we had not meet up. It was a fruitful time spend once again. :) I am so glad that my time wasn't put to waste but was used fruitfully. Thank God for all the great catch-up this week. わたなべせんせい, 今日ほんとにありがとう。 Below were pictures of the food & some home decor made by herself as well as Christmas present received from her:- Labels: Daily ~ 毎日何おします?, Home-made ~ 日本料理 主の恵みわたしたち有難いです!

Friday, December 19, 2008
11:56 PM It was on friday night which we had long planned for a meet-up but due to their busy schedule, we waited for months before we can really meet up. Yiling & Yiping are supposed to join us de but Yiling was held up @ work due to year-end :( while Yiping was coughing away hence she decided not to join us. But well, the 3 of us still stick to the plan in order not to spoil each other mood on a friday which weekend is on its way. Initially I was waiting for Yiling in the office till about 7.30 pm, hoping she could join us but later sms her & know that she wasn't able to join us as she still rushing her work. But well, hopefully next time she can join us wor, and so I rush to my. ex.office to meet Yiling to pass her Christmas gift and for her sis, Yiping too. Then rush down walking to Clarke Quay to meet Nicole as she was waiting for me to walk down with her to Liang Court. While YuHui already reached Liang court much earlier then us, sorry to have kept you waited for so long YuHui. We managed to see one another & get seated down in the Restaurant, Saizeriya about 8.15 pm. Yes, its the Japanese Italian restaurant again which I went on wednesday..haha, I think I shoulld ask the Restaurant to give me commission for recommending it to my friends, earn some commission out of the recommendation :P All of us were so hungry hence we check the menu & ordered our food right away and we ordered 500ml red wine to chill out :) Was Nicole & YuHui first time trying wine wor, as I told them its cheap, why don't we order but YuHui doesn't really like the taste wor..heez. . .so Nicole & myself drank them all :) Here's our pictures taken for the day:- We were busy munching & chatting away and walk down to Clarke Quay central still chatting away non-stop. As if we were chatterbox :P It's just too much to talk about, we had a great & fruitful time spend, really treasure our meet up time catching up with one another wor. Hope Nicole like her belated birthday gift & hopefully both of them like the Christmas gift given out of my heart of love sharing the goodness of the Lord to bless their heart :) Only then around 11.30pm, we took train together back home. Was glad that we managed to catch the train :) Our next meet-up planned to be in January 2009 . . .looking forward to it again! Labels: Feasting ~ 日本料理, Friends Catch-up 主の恵みわたしたち有難いです!

How I spend my holiday?
Monday, December 8, 2008
11:14 PM Finally I can be out with my dearie after my exam. We head down to Funan IT mall to purchased my external hard disk. Took me awhile going around few shops to check out the price before I purchased, because the prices varies from each shop so its better to find out before you buy it. And here's what I've bought which comes with a free poach and cost me S$149.90 and recommended brand, Westerm Digital from Ting. Thanks Ting for being my IT adviser always :P Hopefully that will help release space in my lappie and speed up too :- Thereafter after having lunch, dearie have craving for ice-cream and ask me to accompany him to Swensens to have desserts and here's picture of what we ate:- Everything was good today except that towards on the way home, I then realised that I had losted my favourite umbrella given from my Okaasan from Japan. I'm feeling terrible..as it has sentimental values plus that umbrella is of good quality air flown from Japan :( Now I see it no more & neither am I able to purchase it anymore. So sad :( 大好き雨傘ロスト. . .いましんみりです. So fast, tomrw it's working day again!! Labels: Daily ~ 毎日何おします? 主の恵みわたしたち有難いです!
