B.V.S.S Class Gathering

6:38 PM Amazingly, 10 years later, we managed to get in touch with quite a number of our B.V.S.S classmate by the help of facebook =) It's all because of one of my classmate who had our class photo uploaded into facebook and one after another start to tag each other in facebook. And then we decided to organised a reunion which quite a number of us managed to make it. So, here after my Japanese lesson on 25 July Saturday, we meet up @ Vivo City Starbucks which was supposed to meet up @ 4 p.m onwards but I had arranged with 2 of my classmate to meet up much earlier to catch-up & chat before the rest arrived. It was really a nice gathering, time flies, everyone is ageing and each have their own family too. Hmm..some of them when they arrived, I couldn't even remember their names..was really donkey years ago! Still recalled those "Ah Lians'" days but now all of them had changed and it's so different seeing them talk to gently soft spoken too =) Here's some of my B.V.S.S classmates fotos taken on that day:-  And special guest here, Juan who is from our upper secondary who drop by to say "Hi" since she's at Vivo too by conincidence, together with her daughter & hubby. 5:52 PM It's YenNie Birthday on 25 July and here we are pre-celebrated her birthday after work together with Julie. We meet up @ City Hall as YenNie had suggested to go to Shokudo @ basement of Raffles City shopping center. Shokudo is a Japanese restaurant with Marche style but if you would ask me to rate the food,I would say it's just so so as the standard is not up to the Japanese style, nevertheless,you can still give it a try. 5:18 PM Today is Dearie's actual birthday and since its a weekday, we did not go anywhere but stay home after work. Just a simple cake cutting session for my Dearie,this cake which I ordered from The Passtier Cake located at Ann Siang Road near my office. They have yummy & nicely decorated cakes but it's expensive, but one thing I would agreed is that they served quality cakes, so worth the price =) Here's our pictures snap shot:-   I am glad that Dearie enjoyed this Tiramisu Cake =) Prayed for another year of Blessing , grace & love of the Lord be upon my Hubby. Celebration of Bi's 34th Birthday

12:00 AM Pre-celebrated for my Bi's Birthday on 18 July after my lesson. Agenda was to go for a nice lunch @ Bugis & follow-by a movie @ Orchard Cineleisure. And what do we have for lunch? Pop by to Bugis EbisBoshi Shotengai which is a newly open Japanese Restaurant located @ Bugis Iluma. It's quite an interesting restaurant with animation decor & several different Japan prefecture food served. Jap Food lovers out there should give it a try =) Here's some pictures of our feasting sesion and order via their interesting pen menu and in there it's just like food amusement park:-     Then was some coffee & cakes @ Coffee Bean while waiting for our movie timeing evening:-  And then off to he theater for our Japanese Movie"Akai Ito". 4:38 PM Here's another Nice Angel Hair Recipe which I had tried and made them for dinner last night =) My Blog readers our there may tried it at your own time and here's my finished product:-  Pasta with Asparagus PREP TIME 15 Min COOK TIME 10 Min READY IN 25 Min SERVES 4 INGREDIENTS (Nutrition) 680 g fresh asparagus, trimmed and cut into 1 inch pieces 60 ml chicken broth 225 g fresh mushrooms, sliced 225 g angel hair pasta 15 ml olive oil 2 g crushed red pepper 40 g grated Parmesan cheese DIRECTIONS: 1. Cook pasta according to package instructions. 2. Heat the olive oil in a nonstick skillet. Saute asparagus in the pan over medium heat for about 3 minutes. Add chicken broth and mushroom slices; cook 3 minutes more. 3. Drain pasta, and transfer to a serving dish. Gently toss pasta with asparagus mixture; sprinkle with Parmesan and crushed red pepper. 4:26 PM After our Japanese lesson on Saturday, we walk from Delfi Orchard to Center Point to have Ichiban Boshi Sushi for lunch. Both my classmate, Sabrina and myself are Jap Food Fans too =) And we are beef lovers too..we order Wagyu Beef item which look so yummy from the menu and indeed it taste great!! Snap shot pictures of what we had for lunch:-  After our lunch, each of us go our own ways as she's popping to Kinokuniya to grab stuff while I look around for Hubby's Birthday gift =) And off to Daiso @ Plaza Singapura to grab some household stuff and later back home to meet Bi for dinner =) That's all for the day. Lunch with Iku-chan & Dinner with 2 Hui's

4:10 PM Last friday, meet up with Iku-chan for lunch since her office is just around my office corner. Brought her to this chinese restaurant along boon tat street, which is air-conditioned so that it's not so hot when we eat =) Had this yummy stir fried Dong Fen & "ngoh hiang" which is their speciality and it's Iku-chan first time trying it and she likes it. Took a picture of the food we had:-  This lunch cost us S$16, expensive isn't?? But there's is free flow of chinese tea =) And then night time, meet up with my gals @ IMM, the 2 Hui's, JiaHui & YuHui. Finally managed to meet up with YuHui after her taiwan trip to catch her lovely Namie Amuro's concert with her hubby & sister, glad to hear that she enjoyed the concert and had a great time there. And so nice of her to have bought us yummy goodies frm Taiwan, Unique Cranberry short cake and 2 other item which she bought for both me & JiaHui via online purchase.Nice nice & sweet sweet =) Thank you YuHui..and here we are @ Ajisen Ramen for dinner & chit chat away and lastly towards both JiaHui & mine favourite corner which is coffee corner. But due to no cafe around, we can only grabbed our coffee @ Subway which they do serve coffee and it's good enough also, better than nothing isn't? 3:31 PM As planned with my dear MeiTin, finally we managed to meet up on 9 Jul, Thursday after work. Despite busyness, we try to find time to meet up and catch-up with one another still =) A lovely gal whom I enjoyed talking to & dining with . . and here we are @ Ichiban Boshi Japanese Restaurant @ Centerpoint, Japanese Food has been our all time favourite dining cuisine. Chatted throughout our meals and pictures taken too:-   Wanna Thank my dear gal for helping me to coordinate in ordering those online clothings & deliver them to me too =) Thank you gal. 11:59 PM Today is the first lesson of my Japanese Intermediate 2 Lesson. And again,I woked up late but was glad that I managed to be there on time for the lesson. Everything went smooth in lesson except that more Kanji word to learn & homework to do too. After lesson, head to Liang Court with Bi for our lunch @ Saizeriya Japanese Italian Style Restaurant, its been a while since I last been there. As usual, food was nice & reasonable price too, and here's snap shot of our pictures taken for the day:-    And then Kinokuiya to purchase stationeries & then groceries purchase @ Meidi-ya and spend S$70 plus . .think almost half of my money goes to my groceries purchases. Scary isn't? Hmm..I simply love shopping @ Supermarket =) Saw these cutie ToToro-Chan@ Kinokuniya:-  And below are some post dated pictures which me & Bi took when we had our lunch on one of the Saturdays in Jun @ IMM:-  Food was just so so, not really fantastic yet expensive =( My first & last try! Stressful Period

12:20 AM  Got my results on Mon afternoon. Been calling their line for the whole morning but was so so engaged!! Nonetheless, still managed to call through and was upset that again I flung my final term exam!! Scoring only 2 marks better then the mid term which is 43/100...sad sad sad!!!So registered for the re-test which is today. Took one day leave just to take my retest, there goes another day of leave =( Started to take the test @ 3.30pm which lasted for 45 mins and then waited for my 先生 to mark my paper...nervous and worrying...and then 先生 came out from the room with a pity look at me also disappointed face too. Sighhhhhhhhhhhhhh...flung the 1st retest but was Thankful that there is a total of 2 rounds of retest. Grateful too that 先生 went through with me my mistakes & that I will have to remember them, thereafter took 20 mins of revision at school again then off I go again or last chance of retest!!! I can't believe it that I have to take 2 rounds of retest but this time round I am more careful but of course no perfect marks still. After my 2nd attempt, waited for about 10 to 20 mins for 先生 to mark the paper and was thankful for the Grace of the Lord that finally I managed to clear this paper scoring 67/100. I know the marks isn't fantastic still but I am learning & still trying my very best. Paid for & registered for Intermediate Level 2 which is starting this Sat @ 9 am. So fast isn't? No break at all...more stress coming along the way & I have to work double triple hard just to get through again. May the Lord enable me to do well in all my studies by His Wisdom & Knowledge I commit to Him, Amen! Lastly, want to Thank my Sweet Dearie Hubby for being there to encourage & support me, my lovely classmates for being there to guide me in my studies & friends out there cheering me & giving me well wishes =) Thank you all! Appreciate them all! Pass my test, now I am Happy again . . .[試験うかったら, うれしいです。] Busy Busy Busy again...signing off...stay tune for my post dated updates..
