Hmmm...have not gotten the time to blog these days....busy busy busy...lots of planning work & others..

Here's another post-dated blog..my lunch catch up with my Japanese lesson classmate, my dear friend, Sabrina-san. We had late lunch together . .rush day for me after I send my Japanese friends to the venue they are supposed to be at, zoomed over to town to meet Sabrina-san.

We wanted very much to try Japanese Ramen at the following venue:-

But the Q was crazy long hence we give it a miss but one fine day I will be back to give it a try...they are so famous in their ramen & it is origin from Hakata, Fukuoka prefecture. Check out more details from their webbie http://www.ippudo.com.sg

Meet my New Japanese Friends

Got to know this new Japanese friend Yumiko San from the website and here she was in Singapore together with husband & her friend, Sachiko San. With their packed schedule, I managed to took one day leave on 22 Jan 2010 just to accompany them and show them around. Hmmm...I am just like a tour guide isn't? LOL . . .

Off day on a Friday,Yeah! Long weekend but busy me...morning accompany dearie to have breakfast near our home and we had yummy 豆浆油条 which is soya beancurd with fried fritters..taste great! And then rush home get myself showered and off to meet my new Japanese friends at City Hall and I felt so bad as I was late for the first meeting session and kept the 3 of them waiting for me right outside of starbucks :( So sorry about that Yumiko san..and right upon meeting up, self introduction and chat a little, took a train down to Vivo city as I intend to bring them to Sentosa which I last been there several years ago..can you believe it?

Now right before we take off to Sentosa, was to filled their stomach with some nice food..Chinese cuisine from Crystal Jade Kitchen Dining @ Vivo city..I was so glad that the staff there gave us a nicetable seating facing the sea harbour which they liked it :) And all the food was so yummy..3 of them was praising it throughout the dinner too. And here'swhat we had for lunch:-

And with that, take off to our expertition to Sentosa as they wish to see Merlion and some nice views of Singapore and here's some pictures taken:-

Then was a tried out Tiger Sky Tower, just a simply 7 min ride high up up the sky, that cost us S$12 per adult, expensive isn't?

So nice & sweet of them too for some nice stuff they had for me:-

Was a great lovely & fruitful day for me & so glad that they enjoy themselves :)

Time was really short and due to they have to meet their friends in the evening, we just have to leave at around 5 plus to 6 pm. Hmm..and Sentosa had since changes alot..it's so much nicer now :)
Took train from Sentosa down to Vivo again and transit train to Clarke Quay as they were staying at Roberston Quay Hotel and I walk them to their hotel where they stayed too..along the way took a picture for them @ Clarke Quay:-

And due to last min changes, Sachiko san is free in the evening hence we had dinner together which I broght her to try "Bak Kuh Teh" and she loves it:-

My First Dinner Session with my Cousins

Was a Thursday Night after work, for the first time meeting up with my 2 表姐和表姐夫 for dinner. . .Thank God for bonding session :)

My 二表姐和表姐夫 return back from Tasmania 2 weeks ago and went for a short trip @ Langkawi and later was told that my Grandma had passed away during her critical condition. Was sad that they did not managed to see my grandma last face but they were already glad that grandma passed away during when they were back in Singapore. And as for me, I was also glad that I did managed to take an urgent half day leave to see my grandma in Changi General Hospital when my mum called to told me that doctor said she was in critical condition and may pass on any time...and true enough, next day in late night, grandma had passed away. When I saw her in the hospital, it really hurt my heart seeing her badly injured hand so swell and bones were broken too and she was just mumbling away without her eyes open at all :( I just felt so painful for her injuries when I saw her. I admired my grandma's strength all these years when grandpa passed away at his age of only 30 years old, grandma did not remarried but she worked hard to bring up her childrens and she stand strong living up to her age of 89 years old. It's tough life for grandma but she's strong I will said. 婆婆真伟大！ And during my grandma's wake, my husband and myself started to chat alot with 表姐和表姐夫, was fruitful chat & knowing them more infact.

So right before my 表姐和表姐夫 return back to Tasmania, my 三表姐 suggest to have a crabby session along Still Road which I have no idea where is that place at all but my 二表姐和表姐夫 meet me @ Eunous MRT station and walk me to the eating venue which is in a coffee shop @ Still Road. And here we are had these yums crabs, you tiao, mee goreng & Kang Kong :-

Thank my 二表姐和表姐夫 for the dinner treat and will see you both again, also thanks for invitation to visit Tasmania & lodge in your house too :) There will be an opportunity one of these days. . .waiting for you to share fotos you had taken via your cam wo..as there's yourself & 三表姐 & myself as group picture in there. Have a safe trip back to Tasmania both Sis.Nancy & Bro.Lyell.

New Year Dinner with the 3 Sisters @ Riverview Hotel

Hmmm..again it's an posted dated blog again...bear with me as I've been so so busy :( Dun like to be so busy but no choice :(

It's a friday being the 2nd week of January 2010 and start of the new year, we had pre-arrange to have dinner together @ Japanese Restaurant,Irodori @ Riverview Hotel on 8 Jan 2010. Jamie was supposed to join is but last min she couldn't make it as she's been busy with her new love nest renovation and there comes Yvonne joining in our dinner too. It's glad to see them all and have a yummy dinner alacarte buffet @ Irodori Jap Restaurant and here we are presenting photoshots with YiPing, Yiling, Yvonne and not to miss out the food too:-

We had a great feasting day together and looking forward for the next dining together again. . YuHui must join us ya :)

明けましておめでとうございます - Happy New Year 2010!

早いですね、 2009年も終わった。
[It's fast isn't? Year 2009 had come to an end]

今2010年です、願望はありますか？
[It's now thw year of 2010, any wishes for the year?]

皆嬉しと幸せと想いが希望です。
[I hope & wish for everyone to be happy.]

Being 1st day of the year, which is Japanese new year day, Iku-chan invited both myself & hubby to her house for dinner. We were glad to be able to have a meal with both herself & Kentaro. Although I have to be back to work on 1st day of the year and at 7 am :( but was glad to be able to leave by 2.30pm and meet hubby to walk over to Liang Court have a relax coffee session @ Starbucks to talk about our upcoming trip until the time to walk over to Iku-chan house. We had a good & healthy feast at her home with the following dishes served and their new year dish in the bento box de which is call "Osechi" お節料理【おせちりょうり】- food served during the New Year's Holiday and show case the pictures:-

And below are some stuff Iku-chan bought for us when she went back for her trip to Japan in Dec :-

We had a great time with both her husband & Iku-chan and we had some Japanese Sake & wine and had fun chat till almost midnight.
Thank both of them for the dinner invite.
