On 30 Oct 2010, Saturday, I was invited by the staff of Cookie Museum for a free cookie tasting session to try out their Christmas range of ccokies & they also gave me a free pot of tea to go along with the cookie tasting, perfect match! I invited Yuuko san to come along with me so that she gets to try the fantastic cookies too. I ordered their Zesty fruit tea range while Yuuko san had the rose tea, her all time favourite. All the cookies were yummy delicious & uniquely made in Singapore, I like the ambience of this place, very cosy and nice but their things were quite costly. Below were some pictures I snap shot:-

Here's cookies I bought as birthday gift for 2 person & Musk Melon light cookies were given me free as I joined their membership & of course there are some other priviledges too!

Later after all the cookie tasting then did we walk over to Parco Millenia for our lunch. And here we are @ my favourite Ramen shop, Nantsutei Ramen-ya. They served awesome ramen, give it a try if you have not try it

Fresh garlic served upon request, cracked it, squashed it and add in to eat them with ramen.Yummy delicious! The soup is fantastic too!

Saw the below cute bag @ Octa Hotel cafe in Parco Millenia, so cute but so expensive!! It cost S$80 for that so I didn't grab it, merely just looking at it.

Like the above sandals, such design are now in trend, its so comfortable on my foot! Hmmm...but there goes my money again! Have to work hard & save hard isn't?

Dinner with my dear ladies

It's once again a friday night and here am I right after work meeting up with my dear Oct birthday girls. Sorry gals, once again I am the last to arrived at the dining venue wo...sorry about that especially Jiahui for kept you waited so long at the bus stop..sorry about that ya. Glad that 3 of us managed to meet up for dinner in celebration of 3 of our birthdays. Yuhui birthday on 28 Oct while Jiahui birthday on 31 Oct & Mine on 9 Nov, hence just as last year, we will come together to celebrate together de :)

Thank you Yuhui for this birthday treat & I had a great time with these fun ladies, chatting, complaining, laughing away while having our dinner. And never knew that Jiahui was so "kao xiao" person in the video until Yuhui snap shot them. For the whole night, Yuhui was busying snapping nice pictures for the day, while Jiahui was busying entertaining us & videoing away and while me was busying eating non-stop .....ahahah...these 3 simple gals simply had fun for the night and below were some pictures taken from my camera when dining @ Riverview Hotel Irodori Japanese Restaurant:-

Another feasting day for me! Seems like I had been feasting non-stop isn't? LOL!

Dinner @ Ootoya @ Suntec City Outlet with my 2 girlfriends, it was their first time visiting Ootoya and was glad that they like the food. Below were pictures of what we had for dinner:-

Dinner @ Plaza Market Cafe Fairmont Hotel

It's a Monday Bluez day until evening after knocked off from work, head off to meet my dear friend Ikuchan for dinner. She was waiting for me at my office lobby and we set off to take a train down for our dinner @ Fairmont Hotel. It's a free dinner treat as she happen to have free dinner voucher to dine @ The Plaza Market Cafe in Fairmont Hotel. And so here we are having dinner in a international buffet style but the restaurant theme is actually Perenakan Style. Below are some pictures of the food & restaurant pictures I had taken for the day:-

Was a nice catch up with Ikuchan again, chatting & feasting at the same time. Thanks Ikuchan for the dinner treat just before she goes back to Japan for a couple of days. Shall catch up with her again when she return from her trip together with her husband Kentaro.

Dinner @ Home

Was another weekend again!

After church service, head home after lunch to clean up the house with hubby, thereafter head off for a run since the weather was so cooling, Some ME pictures before I take off for my run:-

Simply need to RUN RuN rUn! Been feasting lately and am feeling so heavy now...so I need to run more to burnt off the extra calories intake =(

After I return from my run, then here's what I prepared for dinner for both of us! New item cooked, Salmon fillet steak marinated with Japanese powder marination & go with steamed broccoli & carrots. Simple dish yet healthy & appetising & top with a glass of white wine...Oooooo...was awesome perfect match! And I was glad that Hubby loves it! Hope that I have more dishes in mind to cook for time to come! Here's picture of what I had cooked:-

Collection of Running Pack

A Sunday without Hubby with me @ church service as he was called to be @ work.

After church service,I took a bus to head down to Kallang Leisure Park for collection of my upcoming run running pack. This collection pack was for 10km Great Eastern Women's City run which will held on 31 Oct 2010. It was my first time coming down to Kallang Leisure Park & here's picture of how the building looks like & right at the moment you entered into this mall, it was simply crowded filled with lots of people who were also collecting their run pack.

After the collection, I happened to walk pass Wine Connection shop & realised that they were having sales, hence grab 3 bottles since it's on sales & just before I left Kallang Leisure Park, I bought a cup of yogurt to cool myself down as it was a hot sunday afternoon actually. Mixed berries Yogurt taste great! And then walk to the nearest train station which is "Station" station with 2 mins walk from Kallang Leisure Park, also my first time taking train @ "Station" station circle line train. And below are items collected @ the collection booth, so many freebies packed into the bag as gift away actually. The registeration is so worth isn't?

Home-cooked Japanese meal treat

Was a Saturday but feeling a little stony as I just came back from my Taiwan Trip on 15.10.10 night. After my Japanese lesson, meet up with Yuuko san as she had invited me to her home for a home-cooked meal =) So sweet & nice of her for making home-cooked meal for me and at the same time teaching me how to cook to =) That was lovely isn't? Cooking is always my passion, especially come to cooking Japanese food, my all time favourite. Thank you Yuuko san.

Below are pictures of what we had at her home together with her husband Kei san:-

Just a Simple Japanese meal that satisfied my stomach. Dishes we had were, Broiled Mackeral fish with miso, Okonomiyaki, Daikon salad which is radish salad with tomatoes, cucumber, seaweed & some plum with Japanese salad dressing. I did enjoyed these food & I hope to learn more dishes to cook from her =) And really nice of her to even make extra portion so that I can bring home to let my hubby try too. So thoughtful of her.(~u~)

Mizuno Wave Run with Hubby on 10.10.10

The date striked 10.10.10 which is the day both Hubby & myself participated on another Singapore Public run together! This is the 2nd run we partcipated together, the run name is Mizuno Wave Run held @ Temasek Polytechnic, we enjoyed the run together & glad that we finished the race and did not give up half way through. To me, every run we participate, we always hope to complete the race & not be a looser, Thank God that He never fail to enable us to hold on to His strength to finished the race! Alhought the run seems indeed lots of wave & running on sand & stone isn't easy for me either as I usually run on flat ground, hence it's something different for me but nevertheless, it was another fruitful run and below were pictures we had taken together:-

Feeling such a Japanese day [Part II of II]

Thereby meet up with my hubby @ Isetan which is currently holding Okinawa fair & he happen to see the Orion Beer Garden infront of Isetan. Hence he invited Kentaro & Ikuchan to chill out in this place, enjoying glass of Okinawa Beer, Orion Beer. Here's some picture taken during the day, Cheers!

While drinking, we took this opportunity to catch up with one another, chatting away. Shortly after the chat, we walk out to the entrance of Isetan where a singer from Okinawa by the name of Irei Asano was here to perform some of her lovely songs, she's pretty & her voice was good. She is so talented in her music with such good voice she had, below were pictures taken:-

After the performance, Kentaro & Ikuchan left for their program for the day while me & hubby hand around @ Isetan & later had dinner @ TCC Isetan & below is what we had for dinner and last few pictures also includes some Okinawa sweets gift from Kentaro & Ikuchan for feasting pleasure:-

Feeling such a Japanese day [Part I of II]

Yes - - ->> It's once again weekend! The day I always look forward to!
Moreover I had a busy work day throughout the week, hence the more I look forward to weekend!

On Saturday morning, Japanese lesson to start off my day but just before my lesson, some yummies bread bought from Sun Moulin for breakfast & here's the picture:-

Hmmmm..lesson for the day is also consider tough for me as we are currently learning on 尊敬語 & 謙譲語. Confusing & so much to remember!!!

After lesson, meet up with Ikuchan, my dear friend whom I hasn't seen her for sometime already. We had lunch together @ Orchard Paragon, the restaurant we dine in was fully packed, so we actually waited for sometime just to get ourself seated. But after all, I think it is worth waiting as it is delicious indeed!! The restaurant name is Shinbashi Soba.

They actually freshly made all the soba in the restaurant & infact the glass panel is open for all to view while he is in the midst of making them. So fresh & delicious bouncy too. Some pictures taken in the restaurant:-

After our lunch, head off to Kinokuniya with Ikuchan to meet her husband, Kentaro. And while I was looking around, happened to saw my favourite Cath Kitson magazine with free bags, so there goes my $$$ again as I bought them because of the freebies, so sweet looking & beautiful. Dinner after weekly run & travel discussion

Meet up with my dear gal, Yiling during lunch hour to pop over to Taiwan Tourism to collect some brochures & find out some info with regards to our trip. And after collecting information, we have a quick bite @ O' Briens since we are rushing for time to be back to office. So here's picture of what we had for lunch, taste was just so so and yet so expensive!! The sandwich alone cost S$10.90 but it does comes with a pack of fruits, still its consider expensive as its just a simple sandwich taste:-

Later in the evening, we meet up for our run as usual and thereby had dinner @ Coffee Clubb so as to discuss our trip itinenary over dinner. We selected the same dish, Teriyaki Salmon Sandwich; for dinner and below are pictures taken during the night:-

Upcoming week will be the week we'll be departing to Taiwan. It's gonna be my first trip with my girlfriend & I hope to enjoy my time spend together with her. Lord, bless us a fruitful time I pray =)

Mizuno Wave Run 2010

After church service on a Sunday morning, Hubby & myself took a bus down to Marina Square Shopping Mall to pick up our run pack for the upcoming sunday Mizuno Wave Run. In the Run pack, it includes a Mizuno bag worth S$69.90, Running Tees worth S$32.90 when we only require to pay S$33 for registeration of the run, and in return we still gain actually if you were to net off the cost. I like the Running Tees with printed text "101010", nice color & nice date isn't? It's a special day of run but rather pity that Yiling couldn't join us this round =( which is her day of running since her name pronounce in mandarin refers to 10.

Being the 1st 500 to sign up Mizuno Wave Run, we were given the above Mind cafe puzzle for free & also all runners are given a 30% off voucher for using to buy Mizuno products. So Great isn't?

After collecting these items, we were doing some window shopping & happened to saw the board direction mentioning about one of my favouite bakery shop by the name of "Bread of Life Bakery" located @ Marina Link, I was so happy about that. As I'm in love with their product item "Mocha Pillow Cake", really delicious! Thumbs up!!! Should you be around Marina area, perhaps you would like to give it a try too? It's very soft & not too sweet, hence I enjoy eating them, so does my hubby =)

Lastly, bought my DHC product from Watson, this is to be use for my upcoming trip in Taiwan as it is a travel kit containing their Deep Cleansing oil, Virgin Olive Oil, Mild Soap & Mild Lotion. It's a good product, so far I like this product & thinking if I could grab it @ Taiwan at a lower price? Perhaps, shall check this out! This travel kit comes with a nice cute tote bag, pretty isn't? **Luv**
