Saturday, December 4, 2010
10:35 PM There after lunch with Yuuko san, we head down to Esplanade as she needs to get some more cookies from Cookie Museum just before she goes back to Japan the following week. So here we are having our High Tea plus the very expensive desserts!! I can't believe it when I saw the receipt!! Actually was because due to my Birthday month. I can obtain 50% discount for the dessert sake, I wouldn't be ordering it!! Such a dessert actually cost S$22 so Thank God for the 50% discount, only required to paid for S$11. Part of the reason of the cost was due to this dessert actually contain liquor hence its costly. But delicious!! Enclosed here with the yum yum picture:- The above cookies were yummy delicious too!! Simply UNSTOPPABLE once you start it!! Was a rush rush day for me!! Last stop after Cookie Museum, head down to meet my dear Yuhui! Long time no see!!! Glad to see her again =) I actually asked her if she is available to meet me for a short mement so that I can pass her part 2 of her Birthday present from myself & Jiahui =) Glad that we both meet again! Meeting venue @ West Mall Swesens as she was craving for swesens ice-cream, below picture of us:- Happily we chatted throughout the munch till Hubby came to meet me for dinner & Qiwei came to meet Yuhui too. 4 of us chatted a short moment just before we go our own ways. And after having simply dinner with hubby @ West Mall food court, we head to purchase our needs for the upcoming Marathon run and here it is:- So costly @ SGD 20 for a tube but very effective & highly recommended for Sportsmen =) Extract from the website on goodness for using it! Instant Energy Exceed Your Limits JUMPSTART is a revolutionary energy cream that delivers energy through the skin directly to the muscles to enable sportsmen and athletes to instantly exceed their natural limits in terms of speed, strength and endurance. It also helps in muscle recovery after extreme physical exertions . JUMPSTART is the first and only topical product that combines Ribose, Creatine, Carnitine and Caffeine to give a powerful, instant and sustained energy boost to fatigued muscles. Through Transdermal Delivery Technology, the active ingredients are delivered directly into muscles, which means that the ingredients are not broken down in the gastrointestinal tract and the user would also not experience any side effects which may come with oral intake (e.g. stomach discomfort and insulin effect). JUMPSTART is a novel product that has been specially formulated for sportsmen, athletes and anyone who wishes to maximise performance instantly during demanding physical activities such as marathons, competitions and IPPT*. The product can also be used as a training companion to enhance muscle recovery throughout the training regime. JUMPSTART is safe and does not contain any substance prohibited for sports. Simply use JUMPSTART 1-2 hours before your activity to get the energy boost you need. A trial carried out with committed long-distance runners showed 0.8 - 24.8% improvement in their average best timing and trial participants for inclined pull-ups showed 9.4 - 61.1% improvement in the number of pull-ups they could do. A resounding 80% of all trial participants conveyed that they observed faster muscle recovery with JUMPSTART! How is energy generated in our bodies? ATP, or Adenosine Tri-Phosphate, is the universal energy currency in our bodies that we depend on for our daily activities. Energy is released when ATP breaks down into ADP (Adenosine Di-Phosphate) and phosphate. More energy is released when ADP is broken down further to AMP (Adenosine Mono-Phosphate) and phosphate. ATP is synthesised within each cell using adenine, ribose and phosphate as building blocks. In addition, ATP is also formed when ADP and AMP in the cell join with free phosphate ions. These phosphate ions are donated by molecules of creatine phosphate. Sportsmen experience severe energy depletion during intense exercise At any time, a person has about 100 g of ATP stored in the body. This pool of ATP is sufficient to supply energy for only 4-5 sec of normal activities. [1] (Athletes have a slightly larger pool of ATP stored in their bodies.) Hence, our ability to continuously regenerate this dynamic intracellular pool of ATP is critical for the performance and health reasons. Ribose is a building block of ATP. Unfortunately, ribose synthesis in our bodies (through oxidative carboxylation of glucose) is very slow. When the supply of ribose slows down, the body’s energy level falls. Many sportsmen use energy products containing glucose before intense activities. However, when their bodies are unable to absorb sufficient oxygen, the glycolysis of glucose to form ATP causes the by-product lactic acid to accumulate in their muscles. This results in muscle fatigue. How does JUMPSTART help to boost performance instantly? Ribose is the key active ingredient of JUMPSTART. Thanks to a revolutionary transdermal technology, JUMPSTART is able to deliver Ribose through the skin and directly to the muscles over a period of up to 6 hours. With a continuous supply of Ribose the formation of ATP is accelerated and the body is able to maintain its peak performance for a much longer period. Additionally , ATP produced from ribose does not release lactic acid thereby reducing muscle fatigue. Another major benefit of ribose is its amazing ability to enhance muscle recovery by 3-4 folds. Research has shown that ribose helps to restore ATP to pre-activity levels in only about 12 hours as compared to about 36 hours without ribose supplementation. Creatine is present in JUMPSTART to act as a carrier of phosphate ions. The latter are building blocks of ATP. Carnitine, another important ingredient of JUMPSTART, is required for the transport of fatty acids into mitochondria, the “powerhouse” structures within cells, for the generation of energy. Caffeine is a naturally occurring stimulant found in tea, coffee, cocoa and some other plant-based foods. It is also commonly used as an additive in food, beverages and supplements. Caffeine can improve an athlete’s endurance in sports where long-term stamina is required. Exceed your personal best timings for IPPT*, marathons and competitions with JUMPSTART Instant Energy Cream! *IPPT, or Individual Physical Proficiency Test, is used by the Singapore Armed Forces, the Singapore Police Force and the Singapore Civil Defense Force in assessing the physical fitness of their personnel.
