Participated my very first Sundown Marathon this year!

Was glad to be able to be part of the runner in 21km distance run & it's my very first night marathon race too. However despite it's a night run, it was still very humid hot! Nevertheless, we managed to complete our respective race despite the obstacles and this round all thanks to the Energy Bar & drink intake that helped me to be hydrated & energized throughout my run without stopping too. It was just amazing that I also managed to hit my first 21km marathon race record done last year in December. I recalled It took me 2 hours 25 minutes to complete my 1st 21km marathon race and this round I managed to take only 2 hours 8 minutes to finished the race! Really glad about it being able to beat my best record!! Yay!!

The Energy Bar & Gel that kept me hydrated & energized throughtout my race! Simply AWESOME!!

Another Great experience of the race we had participated!! Next race will be Great Eastern Women race on 3rd July,so stay tune!

Farewell with Yukiko Chan & Erube Chan

Yes! It's another Farewell with my dear friends both Yukiko & Erube chan. It's really sad to say Good bye to them but they have to return back to Japan to continue their studies. And due to I was caught up for my Sundown Marathon Race, I could not send them off to the airport. But that did not stop me from meeting up with them just before they depart! Despite it's a rush due to my lesson in the morning then can I meet to have lunch with them for about 2 hours as I have to rush home to prepare myself for my night race. But so long we get to meet, it's more than good enough I think.

We enjoyed nice lunch together @ Orchard & took out last snap together at the restaurant:-

Bestie night out dinner & when Ys' finally meet M

It's been said for sometime & finally managed to arranged Bestie Meitin to meet up with Bestie Yiling & Xiao Mei Yvonne for dinner together. Just a simple get together but an enjoyable one! When both of them finally met, they simply can't stop talking....I guess it's the cumulative effect? They been wanted to see one another and finally these day had arrived hence mouth went unstoppable (^ _^) . . .

Besides the fun meeting up busy chatting away, we also enjoyed delicious Japanese food as per picture enclosed & our group pictures:-

Lunch with friends from HK & Farewell to Kimiko chan

I was on half day leave to have farewell lunch with 2 dear friends whom I recently met by chance. Brought both Apple & Shita for lunch @ Soup Restaurant to have nice chicken rice and enjoy nice ambience in the restaurant at Suntec City and followed by bringing them to grab some gift back to Hong Kong. It's a nice lunch while chatting with them finding out what they had done during their trip here in Singapore. We took some pictures together and as enclosed below and picture also involved 1st picture we had taken together:-

Later in the evening, yet another farewell! This round is farewell with Kimiko chan @ Changi Airport. I hope she have kept all the nice memories she had in Singapore with her despite returning back to Japan.It's nice knowing you Kimiko chan, may you continue to study hard and all the best in all you do! Will miss the fun we had together and Thank you for the "love letter ~ farewell note". Appreciate that. take care!

Who's next? on my farewell list? Hmmm...seems never ending isn't?

Blu Jazz Cafe Chill out

Being the 1st time here @ Blu Jaz Cafe together with Jocelyn & Hubby along Bugis area by the street name called, Bali Lane when we were here on a weekend. It's quite crowded actually perhaps b'cos of their Live Jazz while enjoying the food & drinks with friends. They served reasonable price food too, so perhaps that crowd the venue too, below were some pictures we had taken, check it out!

* The day I met new friends from Hong Kong too! Nice to know them,Shita & Apple =)

美味しい日本式和風パスタ屋といい飲屋

友達と初めてにこのレストランへ行きました。

[For the first time, me & my friend visited this restaurant].

このレストランの和風パスタを食べました、美味しいかたですよ。

[This had Japanese Style Pasta in this restaurant, and it was so delicious.]

値段は安いし、それに物も美味しいし、いい日本式和風パスタ屋と思う、是非またこのパスタ屋に来る！

[I think its a great Japanese Style Pasta Shop as the price was reasonable, food was delicious too. I will definitely come back to this Pasta shop again!]

Wild Wild Wet Outing @ Downtown East

Just before Yukiko chan depart from Singapore, Both Hubby & myself took leave & brought her to Downtown East Wild Wild Wet which is also one of the Tourist attraction & nice to go on such hot weather in Singapore. We were supposed to be @ 11.30am @ one of the station control, however exhausted Yukiko chan overslept due to her busy schedule in studying for her examinations. So we end up meeting aroung 12 plus and took train down to Pasir Ris followed by transferred bus to Wild Wild Wet. And while waiting for the bus, we snap some pictures as shown below:-

We were expecting hot weather and worried that we may be so tanned, who knows weather turned out to be brezzy windy & there was also drizzling for a short moment. Good for us so that we were not get sun tanned =) And to save some cost, I made some inari sushi as lunch for the 3 of us, also brought along a bottle of Oolong Tea to quence our thirst too =) Knowing that things sold in that venue is quite expensive plus unhealthy too, so we came well prepared with all that we need. Yay! So, below were the rest of the pictures taken together & we indeed had great fun out! I hope so did Yukiko chan (^^) May all the fun she had stayed as great memory she had in Singapore!

七年結婚記念日のお祝い~7th Wedding Anniversary Celebration

By the Grace of our Lord & in celebration of me & Hubby 7th year Wedding Anniversary, we went to Regent Hotel to have a nice relaxing High Tea @ Tea Lounge after Church Service. It was Hubby 1st time trying High Tea too, Thank God he quite enjoy it because the timing of the Tea Lounge is good too, simply from 1.30pm till 5pm, we arrived the venue at almost 2 pm and slowly enjoying our food till 5pm which is the end session of the high tea, Food was great, ambience was awesome too. I'm sure to be back again despite its the 2nd time for me to be here =) Below were some pictures taken for the day for your viewing enjoyment :-

Lion King Musical Show & Farewell to Mari

It was after my Japanese Lesson in the afternoon, meet up with Hubby to head down to Marina Bay Sand to watch gorgeous Lion King Musical Show in view of our 7th Year Wedding Anniversary Celebration. Yay!!

It was quite rush for me actually as my lesson ends at 1pm and the show starts @ 2 pm (#'o#'), no lunch for us just to be in time to catch this nice musical show. It was really an awesome fantastic presentation and definitely worth the $$! They really did a great performance & it was far more our expectation actually. They do deserved praises for the great job indeed!! Below are some pictures we had taken:-

Also, we bought their Music Soundtrack CD too! Its consider resonable price!

Lastly after our dinner @ Coffeebean in Marina Bay Sand, we head down to train station to meet our dear friend Mari chan who will be returning to Japan the next day . . .it's mixed feelings for us, we really miss her & love her . .she's simply adorable, cute & fun loving girl. Nevertheless, We wish her success in all she do both in her studies & career to come. Our last picture taken with her just before we depart with one another:-

Farewell/Welcome Home Dinner Invitation for Japanese Friends

After our Kranji Farm Visit, met up with the rest of the 4, Erube, Fumie, Yuki & Kenji @ Train station so that all of us could walk back to my home together. Just before few of them return back to Japan, I arranged to cook some simple Singapore local dishes for their enjoyment as well as to welcome the newbies who were the next batch of University Student Exchange new friends whom I met during Yuko chan's farewell. Great to meet you all & hope all of you enjoy your stay here in Singapore =)

Studies Life here in Singapore maybe more stressful than in Japan but there's also enjoyment around! So have fun with a balance! Study Hard & Play Hard too!

And below were some simple dishes I had prepared for all of them:-

(1) Salted Egg minced meat steamed tofu

(2) Braised Teriyaki sauce chicken with steamed vegatables

(3) Curry Fish with vegetables such as Lady's fingers, Brinjal, Tomatoes & Pineapples.

(4) Lotus Root soup with Black bean, Peanuts, Yellow Soy bean & Shoulder Butt Pork meat & Garlic

Trip to Kranji Farm in May 2011

11th May which is on Wednesday, took leave to bring our dear Japanese friends to Kranji Farm just before they return to Japan. All of us are supposed to meet at 8.50am @ Kranji station but Erube chan could not join us and Yukiko chan overslept!! She must be too tired stressing for her exam preparations but nevetheless, she turned up to meet us later.So glad to see her but she missed the Goat Farm visit which is Mari's home where we can see Mari chan relatives & many friends, such a pitty for Yukiko chan to have miss that. But not to worry, I had taken many pictures of Mari chan families & friends and can be seen below,please meet Mari's friend & relatives!:-
