10:44 PM Yeah! It's Weekend... Went to my Japanese lesson in the morning which started from 9am to 12 pm. Dearie came to fetch me from school and walk down to Plaza Singapura to purchase movie ticket and went for our lunch. What movie are we watching? Hmmm..a very Singaporean Movie.."Money No Enough 2" Which I find that its a funny yet realistic movie, truely agree with the content of the movie if you have watch them. Below is the trailer:- After our movie, we took bus to holland village for my favourite Japanese Bakery "Provence Bakery & Cafe" to have my favourite bread and bought extra for breakfast too. And we had a lovely dinner @ Holland Village Italian Restaurant by the name of "Amici Authentic Italian Restaurant" which I had been there once with Iku-chan before. Gorgeous ambience & food, thumbs up!! Dearie agreed with me too. Fotos taken below:- I had a great time with Dearie, his very first Saturday which do not require to go for NDP rehearsal le =) よかたですね! Back home after dinner, I was trying out making Matcha Ice-cream but unfortunately mission fail!!! Reason being, Green tea taste not there, perhaps too little green tea powder used, texture not smooth enough, was too sweet..if I happen to try the next round, I would have to reduce the amount of sugar as compare from the recipe provided. RECIPE : GREEN TEA ICE-CREAM Ingredients:- 1. 10g green tea powder 2. 90g granulated sugar 3. 3 egg yolks 4. 200ml of milk 5. 200 ml double cream Steps:- 1. Mix Green Tea powder with 2 tablespoons sugar. 2. In separate bowl, mix together the egg yolks and remaining sugar. 3. Pour the milk into a small pan and gently heat taking care not to let it boil(ideally the temperature of the milk should be 80 degrees). Remove from the heat and mix a few spoonfuls of the warm milk with the green tea powder and sugar in a small bowl. When you have a smooth paste, add it to the remaining milk in the pan. then gradually combine with the egg yolks and sugar mix. Leave to cool. 4. Lighly whip the cream and then add to the cold green tea milk mixture. 5. Transfer the mixture to a large container and put in the freezer. Pictures taken in the process of making the ice-cream:- Thats all for Saturday Update =) Labels: Daily ~ 毎日何おします?, Movie - 映画, 食べ物料理法 ~ Food Recipe
