Dinner @ RISE, Marina Bay Sand Hotel

10:53 PM It was as arranged by the 3Ys' Sisters for a dinner after work on a Thursday evening. 4 Nov 2010. So nice of them to have spare some time to pre-celebrated my birthday that night. Here we are @ RISE by Marina Bay Sand Hotel, it was my first visit to this eating venue. I would grade the ambience as 7/10 but the food wise I would only grade it the most 6/10. Lots to room for improvement on, the sashimi area was poor, the fish isn't as fresh & the cutting was so not professional and the range is minimum too. The dessert is still pretty alright and as for the main dishes, generally so so, the black pomfret fish taste fishy & isn't really nice but the stingray is still ok. The kueh lapis were soft & tasty,not too sweet & the potungees egg tart was great! Hmm, for the price paid, I don't think I will be back again,I would rather pop by Riverview Hotel Irodori paying about half the price of what we paid that night then coming back to RISE again unless they have lots of improvement I guess? But well, I just simply have great company that night despite the food isn't up to my liking. Thanks my dear 3 Ys' sisters again.
