Yumiko san & Family Visit to Singapore [Day 1]

11:44 PM 由美子さんとまっさきさん、 またシンガポールに来る~ようこそ！ [Welcome back to Singapore! Yumiko san & Massaki San.] 今度娘さん,あゆみちゃんも一緒にシンガポールに来る、 よかたです~初めてので~ようこそ！ [This time, her daughter, Ayumi chan came together with them. It's great! And being her first visit to Singapore~Welcome!] 旅行は二月一日から、 四日までです。 [They are here for a holiday from 1 to 4 February 2011.] 下は私達一緒に撮ったんの写真です、御覧ください。 [Below were pictures we had taken together, please take a look at it]     [Above Dish] 鱼生 "Yu Sheng" (raw fish salad) is a must-eat dish during Chinese New Year period. "Yu" means abundance while "sheng" means life, and together they signify the wish for "an abundance of wealth and long life". The cantonese also call the dish "lo hei" which means "tossing up" and when one says "lo hei yu sheng", it means a tossing up of "an abundance of life & wealth." CNY dishes served @ Soup Restaurant which includes "Fa Cai Yu Sheng".     There are many more pictures taken,so please return to my blog for the rest of the photos update.
